This world is far from being perfect. The perfect world will be when we are all with Christ. However, we all live in this world today, and this world brings concern for many. It is easy to feel alone and afraid, because that is what the devil wants. He (devil) wants you to feel alone, he (devil) wants you to feel afraid and he wants you to feel defeated. He wants you to believe that you have been abandoned and that there is no hope. However, our hope is Jesus.

God has not abandoned you and He (God) tells us that in Isaiah 41:10, "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of My righteousness." God tells us throughout the Bible that He is always with us. In Deuteronomy 31:8, "And the Lord, He it is that doth go before thee; He will be with thee, He will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed." Remember, you don't have to face hardship alone. Call out to Jesus and ask for His help and learn to lean on Him for your every need. Just say, "Jesus, I need you. I cannot do this alone and I know that I do not have to, because I am standing on Your Word. I need you to take control of the situation and to remedy this for me." Then place it in His hands and remember to thank Him, even before you have received. That's right, thank Him for taking care of the situation. That shows faith and faith is a powerful weapon against our problems and against the devil. The one thing about faith, "it is only truly faith, when it's the only thing your hanging onto". Remember, the devil is the root of all of our problems and hardships.

Once you ask, don't go through the process again, because when you ask for help over and over again, it shows that you don't believe you have received or will receive the help you seek. This can actually delay the remedy. Ask Jesus for help once for each problem and then thank Him for it over and over again. In fact, praise Jesus over and over again. Praise is also a powerful tool. Keep an arsenal of tools available for when you need them.

Every time you feel that you are afraid recite what is written in II Timothy 1:7, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." Remember, fear is a weapon of the devil. He will always try to use it when he can. One scripture that I have always recited to myself time and time again is Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon formed against me shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shall condemn." I recite it when ever I feel troubled. Don't make the mistake of using vane repetitions, but believe what you are saying and you will receive.

God Bless
